It was fantastic to be invited to Leen Mills Primary School yesterday to have a catch up with the school, and understand some of the challenges being faced with school buildings that are in need of refurbishment.
It was great to be back, and have another tour round seeing how it has changed since my last visit. I also took part in a Q and A with pupils, and it was like being in the House of Commons!
The pupils and staff members were really engaging, and you can tell the amount of work that had gone in to create a positive environment for the children. I will be working with the school on some of the issues they raised and hope to be back for a visit again soon.
