Out and about in the constituency today and I met with local Councillor Rhona Holloway in Bilsthorpe, to hear about some of the works that are planned for the Village Hall there.
I'm very pleased to say that Cllr Holloway, working with the Parish Council, NSDC and the Village Hall Committee has helped secure over £170,000 to improve the Village Hall. This will be a massive help for the much loved and much used old building. Great to see some of the funding coming from local wind turbines in and around the village too!
There's been a lot of behind the scenes work on this for a while now, so I want to say a massive well done to Cllr Holloway, the Parish Clerk, Mel Ward and to all those involved in securing the funding for much needed restoration and impovements.
