I am delighted to be able to announce that New Ollerton will be the home of a new banking hub! I applied to LINK on behalf of the community following the closure of our last bank, and they have agreed with me that we need one!
The banking hub will now be set up by bank-owned infrastructure company Cash Access UK. It will provide basic banking services including counter services run for the major banks by the Post Office, and dedicated rooms where customers can meet community bankers from their own bank.
I know this will make a huge difference to the people of Ollerton and surrounding areas as well as for our fantastic businesses. It follows on from the £20m secured from the Government for our Town Centre redevelopment and the £34m for the A614 improvements. I will keep pushing for even more investment across Sherwood.
