Nearly two years on from the launch of his petition, Mark Spencer, Member of Parliament for Sherwood can announce that the Park Road East resurfacing project will begin on the 11th October.
The works will be completed by Via East Midlands, and Nottinghamshire County Council.
Speaking about the resurfacing, Mark Spencer said:
“It is great to see Park Road East get the attention that it needs, and I hope that the resurfacing will be the start of a long journey to ending the Pothole Pandemic in Calverton and Gedling.”
“I would also like to thank our fantastic County Councillor, Cllr. Boyd Elliott for his support, and for presenting my petition in County Hall.
